Conservation & Wildlife

Conservation and Wildlife is an important feature on all of Frederick Hiam Farms and is actively encouraged by the Company Directors.

A broad range of mammals, including otters and deer are regularly seen on the farms. With significant areas of woodland, hedges & conservation areas on the farms there is an impressive range of birds to be seen. From the mighty red kite to the tiny illusive tree creeper.

There are 950 acres of Woodland which are managed and replanted after clearance with an extensive variety of native deciduous trees. The business has over 500 acres of land in stewardship schemes.
